DIY : Arm Cuff

My first DIY! So this is the story behind. I've been looking for perfect arm cuff everywhere but I couldn't find one which looks right on me.  The shape is wrong, the color is not the right one, it's too shiny (in fact that I prefer wearing the matte one), sometimes they even come with weird decorations or really strange pattern. So I came up with an idea of making it by myself. It's so simple to try! It doesn't even need hours to make it.

Here are some hints! First, make sure you try your spray paint before using it so that you'll get used to it. Sometimes, when your spray paint has been used before, it will get lumpy, so make sure to try it first. Secondly, make sure you spray the surface in a consistent distance, so that it results in even and smooth coat. The thing I love from painting with spray pain is it gets dry really quick so that you don't have to worry about smudging it.
Enjoy!

  18. Wow this got me so excited.
    Personally, i think its amazing.
i'm not sure if the supplies used are more expensive than buying one at a store but its simple and beautiful.
I recently bought a gold bangle like that from F21 for $7.80 and i love it much but have had no chance to wear it because i'm not really into gold. Have fun with your bangle.

  19. @Buky thanks for your sweet compliment. Wow, you really got a good point! There are some more expensive spray paints which I think are more used for metal material, but fortunately I bought a standard spray paint with pretty good quality for only $3. I know, right! I can use it over and over again, so it's quite worth it :D If only I could find perfect arm cuffs, I wouldn't come up with this diy :p So if you want to try this diy, just buy a general spray paint instead of the specific one. Thanks anyway for your comment! :)
